As the crisp autumn breeze blew, Hasan Çapan, Chairman of the Turkey-China Friendship Foundation, led a delegation of 14 expertsscholars from the Turkish Friendship Association on a visit to Beijing Massage Hospital to mark the 15th anniversary of the establishment of strategic cooperative relations between ChinaTurkey. President Jin Tao delivered a welcome address, presenting to the foreign guests the hospitals efforts in inheritinginnovating TCM, as well as its initiatives for high-quality employment among visually impaired individuals. Tan Tianxing, Member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Peoples CongressVice Chairman of the Social Development Committee, stated that with the active promotion of President Hasanvarious expertsscholars, deeperpragmatic cooperation in TCM between ChinaTurkey would be facilitated, writing a new chapter in traditional medicine collaboration between the two countries. Zhou Hong, Deputy Inspector of the International Department of the China Disabled Persons Federation, was present at the welcome ceremony.

Representatives from ChinaTurkey held discussions on international exchangecooperation in TCM. They exploreddrew on Chinas experience in standardizing TCM management, discussed mutual visitsexchanges between medical institutions, specialized technical personnel,medical students from both countries,promoted the deployment of TCM experts for overseas medical servicesacademic lectures. These efforts will lay a solid foundation for future international TCM cooperation between the hospitalits Turkish counterpart.

To gain a deeper, firsthand understanding of distinctive Chinese medicine services, Turkish guests toured the hospitals specialized departments including the Tui Na Department, Acupuncture & Moxibustion Department, VIP Clinic,TCM Nursing Clinic. President Jin Tao presenteddemonstrated the hospitals intangible cultural heritage therapy TCM Tui Na, scalp acupuncture, mang needle, fire needle, warm moxibustion, du moxibustion, gourd moxibustion, medicinal ceramic cupping, bamboo cupping, acupoint patch application,other characteristic TMC external therapies. The foreign guests enthusiastically experienced the hospitals signature external therapies, including TCM Tui Na, acupuncture & moxibustion, Five Elements energy cups,ear acupressure patches. They reported significant relief from discomfortexpressed strong appreciationaffirmation of the effectiveness of these Chinese medical treatments.
