On January 29, immersed in the atmosphere of the upcoming Spring Festival, China Disabled Persons’ Federation hosted the event of New Year Reception 2026 in Beijing Massage Hospital, Chaoyang Campus. Around 150 honored guests, including representatives from the embassies of over 30 countries, such as the United States, Russia, France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Egypt, Uzbekistan, and Grenada, as well as representatives from UN and International Organizations, foreign institutions, foreign enterprises and representatives from China’s relevant authorities attended the event to feel the charm of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) culture together. In the venue, seven international trainees from Belgium, Spain and France who studied in 2025 were invited to share their gains in learning TCM in the form of video. They showed their gratefulness to the physicians and expressed the best wishes to all friends from home and abroad.

Marc from Belgium had visited Beijing Massage Hospital three times for clinical observation and expected to arrive again in 2026. Spanish trainee Patricia studied in Pediatric with a rewarding experience. She even presented a silk banner for the mentors and wrote a letter of thanks to the staff of the Hospital. Josette, the vice president of Union Française des Professionnels de Médecine Traditionnelle Chinoise, had established a sound relationship with the Hospital for more than 20 years. In 2025, She led a study group of 16 trainees to learn TCM Tuina, acupuncture and moxibustion. Veronique, Vanessa, Valerie, and Helen, all from France, noted that during their study in the Hospital, they felt the trust between physicians and patients, learned the tuina therapy of stepping techniques they never heard in France, and experienced the therapeutic effects of featured TCM external treatments. As disseminators of TCM culture, they are now applying their knowledge to benefit more patients in France.
